RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We hope that you are happy with your purchase. If you would like to return your purchase there are some important steps that you must follow:
1: Contact us via our Helpdesk within 14 days and await further instructions before sending your item(s) back to us.
We can not accept any returns that are sent without contacting us first.
You may be asking yourself why you can't just put your item back in the post to us. This is why...
- We have 3 different warehouses, in 3 different countries serving different regions of the world. When you request to return an item our Customer Services Team need to make sure that your item goes back into stock in the correct warehouse.
- We will contact you and let you know how to make a return that will make sure that your package goes back to the correct warehouse and is checked in using the correct process. This will result in you getting your refund or exchange as quickly as possible.
- The shipping method that we use will enable us to track the parcel and assist with any situations where items are lost in the post or encounter delays.
2: In your Helpdesk Message please include your Sales order number, the product you wish to return and whether you would like a refund or replacement.
3: Clothing must be returned with all packaging and tags intact.
4: Hard parts must be returned in original condition. We can not accept any parts that show signs of fitment or use.
5: We recommend that you obtain proof of postage when you send your item back to us.

7: Once we have received your returned item we will be in touch to confirm when it has been processed. Your returned item will be checked for signs of use. If it is accepted as resalable, we will aim to process your refund or return within 5 to 7 working days, however at exceptionally busy times this may take up to 14 days.
SHIPPING
Our aim is to ship your order to you as soon as possible and in our experience most UK orders arrive within 5 working days.
Overseas shipping will take longer and you may be liable for taxes.
If an item that you ordered is not in stock you will be notified and it will be shipped as soon as it arrives in our warehouse.

WARRANTY
Adventure Spec products are engineered to the highest quality by human beings. Whilst we aim for perfection we know that sometimes that is not achieved. If you find defects in the materials or workmanship of any Adventure Spec product then please get in touch with us via our Helpdesk to arrange a repair, replacement or refund.

Definition: Seller means Adventure-Spec Ltd. (Unit 3, Cragg Road, Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire, HX7 5EY, UK) and the company's web site email: support@adventure-spec-ltd.odoo.com. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 06429495 Our VAT number is 935768771. Customer means the person or company to whom this document is addressed.
These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of products supplied by the Seller, hereafter referred as Adventure Spec, to the buyer hereafter referred as the Customer.
1.5 Stock Availability Status. Product availability and delivery lead time will be confirmed by email with the Sales Order
2.1 All prices are quoted in British Sterling or Euro and are inclusive of VAT if indicated ("incVAT")(at 20.0%, IF APPLICABLE) (as may be prescribed by law from time to time).
2.2 All prices are plus postage by DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, UPS or USPS.
2.3 Prices excluding VAT(at 20.0%) are also quoted in the product pages. Orders delivered to countries outside of the EU will not be charged VAT but may incur taxes from the receiving country. Adventure Spec Ltd are not responsible for any charges incurred once goods have been transferred to the courier.
3.1 Payments must be made in British Sterling or Euros unless otherwise specified, and by one of the following payment methods
Major credit cards as listed: Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, Maestro and Visa Electron
Paypal (£GBP orders)
Bank/Wire Transfer to Adventure-Spec Ltd by prior agreement (contact Adventure-Spec Ltd for details)
Your card is charged when the order is placed.
Goods shall remain the property of Adventure Spec Ltd until full payment has been made by the customer, payment has been received and cleared.
The risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery, as defined in clause 6.3 below.
U.K.Delivery:
6.1 Any date or period for delivery shall be considered as indicative only, although it is our policy to try to despatch all orders within 5 working days. Any products not available at the time of your order will be sent to you, as soon as possible, when received from the manufacturer. Adventure Spec cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the manufacturer, or any other third party. Orders will be shipped via DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, UPS or USPS dependent on customer selection. Most packages arrive within 5 business days. Adventure Spec have the right to fluctuate prices in proportion with their costs.
6.2 OVERSEAS SHIPPING As above (6.1) except where parcels are to be shipped overseas, the method of shipping will be DHL Economy Select, DHL Worldwide Express, DPD, UPS or USPS dependent on customer selection. Any duties, taxes or charges made by 3rd parties once goods have left Adventure Spec premises are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6.3 PASSING OF RISK In the event of an order being lost by a third party, Adventure Spec bears no risk once it has left their trading premises. Where goods have been received damaged, a refund/exchange application will only be acknowledged if the goods are returned together with their original packaging within 14 days of order to Adventure-Spec trading address (see clause 7).
Where the goods are signed for, if a customer believes that a parcel has been tampered with, it is their responsibility to refuse to sign for the goods.
In the event of either of the above, Adventure Spec will supply the customer with full details to allow a claim to be lodged with the courier.
To initiate a product return please follow the instructions listed in Clause 8.2
This is not a guarantee and Adventure Spec have the right to refuse any application. Any refund/exchange given is at the discretion of the management of Adventure Spec. Failure to give accurate information while making a claim may lead to a prosecution from DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, UPS or USPS.
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods unless within 14 days after their receipt the Customer shall have notified the seller that the goods are rejected. (This does not however affect the customer’s statutory rights). If no such action has been taken, Adventure-Spec shall consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any reject at a later date.
8.1 If the goods are to be rejected in the time limit set in clause 7 above, the Customer shall comply with the return procedure as defined in clause 8.2, below. Adventure Spec will not accept any returned goods should the return not follow the aforementioned return procedure.
8.2 The Customer must apply for returns authorisation via the Helpdesk stating the Sales Order number in the subject line. State the items for return and further actions (eg. exchange for a different size, colour, item, submit a warranty claim or cancel the order - see section 9 below) in the body of the message. Alternatively, please call Adventure Spec to initiate the procedure.
Any opened or damaged products will not be eligible for a refund/exchange. It is advisable that a certificate of posting is obtained.
8.3 In cases where the rejection of the goods is due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to Adventure Spec before the refund or replacement can be issued.
8.4 In cases where the rejection is due to an incorrect order from the Customer or to dissatisfaction, the Customer is entitled to a partial refund (full refund less postage costs) only. Goods must be returned to Adventure Spec before the partial refund can be issued.
8.5 In cases where the customer does not sign for the goods on delivery or for whatever reason, they are not accepted by the customer and returned, we will offer either to re-send the package (which will incur the original shipping charges again), or to refund the original payment minus shipping charges.
8.6 Items marked 'Special Order' in the stock information section of the Product page are note eligible for Exchange or Cancellation. No returns will be accepted on these items. They will be returned to the customer and shipping charged. Any items ordered by phone or email as Special Orders (ie not listed on www.adventurespec.com) are also not eligible for Exchange or Cancellation
NB. Only goods purchased from Adventure Spec by the customer can be returned and exchanged by Adventure Spec. (items distributed by Adventure Spec, but purchased from a 3rd party supplier must be returned to the supplier)
9.1 Cancellations are only accepted if the Customer complies with the following cancellation procedure and before the order has been despatched. If the order has been despatched prior to the cancellation, the return procedure as defined in clause 8 (8.2 and 8.4) above will apply. If the procedure is not respected, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
9.2 Cancellations can be made via Adventure Spec Helpdesk. If the goods have already been despatched, Adventure-Spec cannot refund any monies spent on postage & packaging. (clause 8.2 & 8.4)
9.3 Items marked 'Special Order' in the stock information section of the Product page are note eligible for Exchange or Cancellation. No returns will be accepted on these items. 10.3 Why do we ask for our customers’ personal data and how do we use it?
The main reason is usually because an order has been placed and we need to process this.
We will retain this personal data captured during the order process for the potential life of the product you have purchased to enable warranty claims and invoice requests to be serviced.
In addition we may ask for your permission to share information with you about technical or useful aspects of our products (e.g. how to fit a particular type of luggage), examples of our product in use (e.g. content from our YouTube channel) or to alert you to products we think might be useful to you or that are being sold at a discounted rate for a limited time.
We only contact our customers if they have agreed to being contacted by Adventure Spec Ltd.
10.4 Passing data on to other companies and third parties.
We will never sell or pass on our customers information and/or data to any third party.
10.5 How do we store supporter information securely?
We take great care to prevent the loss or misuse of any of data we hold for our customers. All information kept is held in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other legislation that is applicable.
Much of our communication with customers is through Email which is not a fully secured form of communication. We do everything within our powers to keep our systems protected as far as possible, but we are not able to offer any guarantees.
We are unable to make representations about any other websites that may be accessed through links on our own website and our social media channels. These websites are independent from Adventure Spec Ltd and we have no influence over the site or how any personal data collected through these sites are kept and used.
10.6 How can supporters change their personal details or ask us not to contact them?

All data will be amended or removed from our systems within 5 working days.

Adventure Spec Products
Adventure Spec Ltd aftermarket components are fitted and used purely at the discretion of the motorcycle owner. Neither Adventure Spec Ltd or Guard it Technology Ltd can be held responsible for any damage incurred to either rider or motorcycle while using either range of products. All crash bars, bash plates and other products manufactured by Guard it Technology and sold by Adventure Spec Ltd are designed ONLY for cosmetic purposes.Their use does not guarantee more protection for the motorcycle or rider than would be available whilst using the motorcycle in standard trim. These products will not prevent crashes and under no circumstances should use of either product range encourage irresponsible riding or riding beyond the ability of the user
